VeriBark is now FaunaVera. Same science. Now 7 species.

Upload.Analyze.Understand.

Animals are always communicating. Through their voices, ears, eyes, posture, movement and countless tiny signals we often miss, they are constantly sharing how they feel and how they are experiencing the world.

The challenge is not that animals are unclear. It is that most of us were never taught how to read all of those signals together.

That is where FaunaVera comes in: an AI-powered educational tool that helps you observe and understand animal communication more clearly, using the videos already on your phone.

Our process

From clip to clarity.

01 / 04
1

Choose your animal

Pick the species and create a profile with breed or type, age and sex. FaunaVera reads a horse differently from a hen, so this sets the right lens from the start. It also double-checks: species and breed are confirmed from the video itself.

2

Share a short video

Record in the app or pick a clip you already have. Add context or a question if you like: “She walked straight over to the gate when I arrived. Is she happy to see me?”

3

FaunaVera’s AI agents watch, listen and cross-reference

Specialist AI agents confirm which animals are in the clip, then watch the video frame by frame for body language (ears, eyes, face, posture, tail and movement) and listen to the audio for calls and other sounds, recording only what is actually there. Each observation is cross-referenced with that species’ own ethogram: 720 signals from 399 scientific sources across 7 species. Not on our list yet? FaunaVera researches the published science instead and marks the result as an AI interpretation.

4

Weigh it all together

An interpretation layer weighs posture, face, movement, sound and context together. Confidence is calculated, not guessed, from how clear the clip is and how well the signals agree. You get the FaunaVera Interpretation, Voice of Animal, practical Tips and Ethogram Insights that explain each signal, so you learn a little more with every clip.
